Protecting the species

Protecting the species in its environment (in-situ conservation)

All proposed conservation measures must be based on careful observation of the species in its natural environment. Then, their implementation and sustainability are based on the various stakeholders’ cooperation and commitment. Four main conservation measures were implemented at the start of the project:
    1. the setting up effective protection zones,
    2. the setting up a surveillance network to prevent any poaching,
    3. the adjustment of falconry practices,
    4. the public awareness.
