Programs Achievements & Perspectives

At the project’s outset, one man, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and a handful of passionate individuals sharing the same goal took up a bold challenge: conciliating the pursuit of human, economic and cultural activities with the preservation of a species.

Twenty years later, the ECWP has built up a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team capable of meeting the technical and scientific challenges upon which the project’s success depends while continuously striving to innovate. The team has managed to bring together many local, national and international stakeholders around shared interests and plays an information and awareness-raising role with various publics.
